We are a dynamic team of passionate chemists committed to developing novel strategies, methodologies, and reactions that address key challenges in organic synthesis and accelerate the discovery of new drugs.
Our research focuses on the following areas:
1) Tackling long-standing challenges in organic synthesis by creating novel strategies, synthetic methods, and chemical transformations, with a particular emphasis on selectivity (e.g., chemo-, regio-, enantio-, and diastereoselectivity).
2) Developing novel carbon-main group element bond-forming reactions catalyzed by transition metal catalysis, including C-B, C-P, C-S, and C-Si bond-forming reactions.
3) Expanding the chemical space in medicinal chemistry and accelerating drug discovery using cutting-edge chemical tools developed in our lab.
